I'm not 100% sure them MPG clocks are all that accurate, mine doesn't tally with my ODO and fuel gauge. Gas conversion will save on the bills, if your doing enough miles to pay for the conversion that is.

Hi Daemo Ive got to ask, if your concern is fuel consumption why did you buy an 850R ? :blu-O_o: 22mpg sounds about right me thinks  it is after all a heavy performance car.
Hiya I bought the car knowing it wouldn't be fab on fuel - but my 225bhp Rover returned 35mpg - and it too was a big heavy car, that and based on reading threads from the forum about what people manage to get from their T5's. Cheers Daemo
20 mpg average for me im afraid, 15 if i drive it like it's supposed to be driven. I don't worry about the mpg too much, more why do i go through so many front tyres..... ( retorical question.. no reply needed thanks )
Key question is where do you do most of your driving, if you're in town a lot of the time low to mid 20's is your lot I'm afraid. I've had two 850's, both chipped, one auto and one manual. Only the manual ever got much over 30mpg and that was on a long slow-ish A road drive. That said it could be worth checking you've not got a slightly binding brake as that can hammer fuel economy without being noticable. Check to see if one wheel feels wamer than the others after a run.
